All bills shall include the minimum sewer and water service charges applicable to the billing period following the meter rendered. All delinquent charges and all other current charges due. Lowndes County Code Sec. 11.5 Rates, Fees, and Charges.
When an error in meter reading occurs, the user's bill shall be adjusted to a normal bill based on the average of the 3 previous months consumption. Adjustments for leaks with a written statement from a licensed plumber stating repairs were completed will be issued by adjusting the sewer account by half the difference between the average sewer billing and the high bill. Adjustments will be adjusted for sewer consumption only. Water and/or Sewer Hardship Adjustments for customers can only be issued once in 3 years.
Full Adjustments may be requested by a customer for service in which 5 or less days has transpired from the date of initiating service in regard to their first bill. Lowndes County Code Sec. 11.5 Rates, Fees, and Charges.

The minimum monthly water / sewer charge shall be $17.43 per month for water and $23.03 for sewer. To this minimum charge an additional amount shall be charged for each 1,000 gallons and fraction thereof, of water and sewer per month in excess of 3,000 gallons.
There is no additional charge to residential sewer users for water use exceeding 13,000 gallons per month.
E-One Maintenance Fee
Customers that have an E-One sewer system will be charged an additional $10 per month maintenance fee as well as monthly water and sewer consumption charges.
