Lowndes County Solicitor General
The solicitor-general of the State Court of Lowndes County is Richard W. Shelton. He graduated from Mercer University Law School in 1974 and served as an Assistant District Attorney from 1975 - 1981. He has served as Solicitor-General since 1985, as President of the Solicitor's Association of Georgia and as a member of the Prosecuting Attorney's Council of Georgia.
