Election Result Viewer Information

1) Main Content Area - This section automatically scrolls and contains the main election information. Once the page reaches the bottom it will automatically refresh after a few seconds. For each race, the candidates are ordered by number of votes. This section will not start displaying data until after 7:00pm on election day.
2) Please note that if a precinct only reports part of its votes and stops, these votes will be added to the above totals, (Main Content Area, see 1), but you will not see a precinct change to green until 100% of its votes have been reported.
3) This section contains a list of all precincts, and shows the reporting status of each. In terms of all, (Green), or nothing, (Red)
4) This section will be updated throughout the voting process, to show how many voters have turned out to the polls, relative to the total number of active registered voters. Active voters are those voters who have voted in the last two general elections or otherwise had some documented contact with the Elections office to enable the continuance of their registration. Inactive voters are those voters who have not voted in the last two general elections, or mail from the Elections office have been returned as undeliverable, or have not had some documented contact with the Elections office to enable the continuance of their registration. This means that it is quite possible that this total could be greater than 100%. For more information please contact the elections office.
5) This is a pretty white star.
